It’s Pink Saturday, Valentine

Here we are again for another great installment of Pink Saturday!

Valentine’s Day is a week from tomorrow! How this year is speeding away!

I got ready a few weeks ago here are some Valentine goodies!

My shelves have had a bit of Valentine fluff.

   

Ok this is a mess but there are all my sweet Valentine goodies! Notice the big bag of Jelly Bellies. They are tutti-frutti I am addicted to these things!!! My pink card stock is waiting for a project and the pink paint is for the box that will probably not be made in time for Valentines Day this year. I’ll try. Maybe I’ll have it for next week.

Still snowed in…

But we're all cozy!

The boys spent Saturday night and had a great time. This is Sunday morning and Molly joined them to watch tv.

I loved the last issue of this one too!

This is cute and looks like so much fun! Great gift wrapping!

How cool to have an idea for the cups and cozies! I have loads of coffee cups to use when I go buy cups of coffee, and they are 60% of the time at home when I do! I am trying to keep one in my car but they have to be washed so it isn’t as easy as running out and putting bags back in my car. I am trying!!! But I will keep the cups I do get from now on! I love this idea!

I finished my tiny dollar store bulletin board.

It’s pink, of course!

I use it for all my business cards from the sweet and lovely online ladies that sell me wonderful things that make me smile!

It will go in my room!

My mother and stepfather are looking for a place of their own. We are hoping the spot next door will be ready in the next few months and they will be right there. It would nice to be close but not as close as we are now. hehe

I am excited about using my bedroom suite and spreading out my other treasures into the whole extra bedroom. I am making lists!!

My room will be more country and the the new room will be pink shabby chic/retro! It will look like a junked up mess just like the rest of my house but I will try to have only two styles in one room!

I also got stir crazy while flipping channels I came across a laptop on QVC and had a semi-impulse buy. I have been looking and researching laptops, netbooks, etc, for at least 8 months and this one had all the features I wanted at a price I could afford so I did it!

Then after I did thinking maybe I could have done better and have searched but really cannot find one better in my price range! It is sadly not pink. But the pink ones cost too much or were too small. As it is my only computer I want to do everything on it and not just the internet.

So what has everybody else been up to?

Snowed In…

Here is Big brother 2 and cupcake walking from their house across the street to mine yesterday afternoon. It was sweet to see the little pink jacket in the snow!

And the dogs really don’t mind the snow

In this picture the snow was not covering the stairs yet. But they jump right out the door when it opens!

Snowed in but I think I’ll be ok!

Pink Saturday Valentines!

I have actually made and finished a project!!

It is slightly bigger than I had thought at first but I love it!

Isn’t she the greatest EVER!! I got a box of these at Barnes and Nobles with coupons and my member discount and she was a bargain!!

The paper was in a pack I bought at Big Lots for $1.99. I could not believe they matched her so well. I used my 2 different Martha Stewart edge punches to do the edges. The buttons were in a huge old tin of my mom’s and also were the best shade and just perfect!!

Hard to tell really but it is a peachy pink and looks great with yellows! The blue papers match the background on the card.

I am always afraid I will over do something so I left it.

Then I did the back.

I think I like it best! I fit all the scraps together to cover the cardboard back! And the buttons were cute without being too much. I am very happy with her and she is hanging on my shelves that being taken over with Valentine!!

Don’t know why this turned out so dark. I hope you are all having a great Pink Saturday Valentine!

Dollar Days

I did a little shopping last week at all the great new dollar items the stores are putting out.

Micheals is just over run with really great stuff!

On my first trip I grabbed these goodies. File folders, note pads, stamps, and “L” items! I think I will have lots of L’s around for a while.

They also had this

Packing tape! They have lots of others too. But how fun! I don’t have a great idea yet but I will do something fun I know!

Then a run in the Dollar Tree I found these

This sweet little one (apx 7” x 11”) is headed for a redo. Unless I’m hit with another inspiration it will be pink. I cannot decide if it will be paint, fabric or paper, but it will be pink!

I have been nursing my head cold so I did not get any projects started this weekend. I am saving my strength for work next week. I hope we will back up at full speed and with full staff.
